Perhaps I've been going about asking for things the wrong way.Even though I say dear Lord I'm really focusing on talking to God. It's not that he doesn't hear me but I'm missing a crucial step and it's something I need to learn. You can't skip steps. I've been praying for guidance from God wanting it directly so perhaps I need to pray to Christ and ask for the Holy spirit to become stronger in me. I know God is in my life but this could be a lesson in following the necessary steps to reach a goal. Dear Lord I pray that you will help me to seek you more actively and that you would led me more. Give the Holy Spirit a stronger presence that I might serve you more completely. Send me your father's counselor that he would remind me of your words and help me to be more like you that your father might work through me. Amen.
