Today's passage really strikes me as a great one for goths. The religious leaders are accusing Jesus of having satanic powers because he healed a man. Likewise people accuse goths of being satanic because we enjoy and delight in the darkness. Now the people who speak against goths are forgivable. It's okay that some people don't understand us but it is important to forgive them. It would be no different than looking down on them because they enjoy the light. There are two sides to every coin and we must respect that and forgive those who do not understand, praying for them as well. I pray for forgiveness for the thoughts I have had against coworkers. I pray that they are blessed and that their eyes be opened to the truth of the matters. Forgive them of their sins as you forgive me of mine. Give Andrew the guidance and wisdom he needs in Alaska. Help us all to walk the path you have signed for us and guide us on the path of righteousness. Give me strength and wisdom in all that i do and help me overcome my sins that I may be closer to you.
